Just some comments about downtown Apopka today.....the busiest place in town today was the long line of vehicles backed up to the water office to pay their water bills. It was insane! At one point, people even appeared to be forming a double line, until they realized that wasn't going to work. Then after paying our water bill, we couldn't get out for the backed up line of vehicles. When in line, I told my husband to look at the history museum, because there is yellow crime tape around it. I said, I wonder if there was a crime that happened there? He said no, they are probably renovating, and have it closed off. I just now read about the car crashing into the museum, so I guess there will be some renovating going on, and a closure, for sure. Wow. I saw the photo of the car, and the tow truck, and tow truck driver, and he was the same guy that I hired this morning to come tow my car from my house, to get my power steering leak fixed. Didn't feel safe driving it with the leak. Anyway, adding to the chaos around the water office traffic was a dozen or more youths flying on electric bikes out in the middle of the streets dodging cars, and what I call taking over! Rather dangerous......
