Our scholarship funds are generated from the proceeds of the Apopka Art and Foliage  Festival (AAFF). The annual festival is presented in partnership with the City of Apopka and the Apopka Woman’s Club. This year will mark the 64th anniversary of the festival, which will be held April 25-26, 2026, at Kit Land Nelson Park in Apopka. All proceeds from the festival are donated to community organizations and scholarships. Some of the past community recipients have been Shop with A Cop, Loaves and  Fishes, Harbor House, and Seniors First. This year, there will be five $1,500 scholarship awards, including one from the Eileen Langley Scholarship Fund, a memorial scholarship established by her family to honor a dedicated, longtime member of the Apopka Woman’s Club.

Applications will be available on our website, www.apopkawomansclub.org, on  January 12, 2026, and must be delivered by March 20, 2026, at 5 pm. After the committee completes the scoring process, the applicants will be contacted. Award recipients and their guests will be invited to attend a presentation ceremony and receive their award certificates during the Apopka Women’s Club general meeting on April 21st.
