Though Election Day is still several days away, hundreds of Apopka voters have already cast their ballots in the city’s 2026 municipal election.

According to the Orange County Supervisor of Elections Office, 2,710 votes have been recorded so far through a combination of vote-by-mail ballots and early in-person voting. That represents 7% of the registered voters in Apopka.
Of those votes, 1,608 were cast by mail, and 1,102 were cast during early voting.
Early voting appears to be gaining momentum. Wednesday was the highest turnout of the first three early voting days, with 386 voters casting ballots in person.
Among the ballots cast so far, registered Democrats account for the largest share, though the margin between parties remains relatively close.
Early voting in Apopka began on Monday and will continue through Sunday, March 8, with polling locations open daily from 7 am to 7 pm.
Election Day is Tuesday, March 10.
Apopka has 38,698 registered voters, meaning the majority of ballots for the 2026 election are most likely yet to be cast. In the 2022 Apopka mayoral election, a total of 6,775 votes were recorded, including 3,072 vote-by-mail ballots.
