In Summary:
Apopka’s holiday season will kick off with two community festivals celebrating local spirit and seasonal fun. On November 7, the Puddin’ Place Festival will take over East Station Street with vendors, food trucks, and live Motown hits from The R&R Motown Music Review. Mayor Bryan Nelson praised the effort and encouraged collaboration with nearby events like the Fifth Street Market. Then, on December 6, the Pines of Wekiva Holiday Fest will debut along Wekiva Pines Boulevard, hosted by the neighborhood’s homeowners association. The family-friendly gathering will feature games, food, and an Apopka Fire Department truck for kids to explore. Together, the two festivals mark a cheerful close to the year — and a celebration of community connection in Apopka.
Apopka residents can look forward to a pair of festive weekends this season as the City Council approved road closures for the Puddin’ Place Festival and the Pines of Wekiva Holiday Fest during an upcoming stretch of community celebrations.

The Puddin’ Place Festival goes down on Nov. 7 from 5 to 9 p.m. along East Station Street, from South Park Avenue to 6th Street. The free event will celebrate the fall season with local vendors, food trucks, and live music, including a performance by The R&R Motown Music Review.
Mayor Bryan Nelson expressed his enthusiasm for the event, encouraging collaboration between nearby organizers.
“I want to commend Cindy and the team for putting this together, and I hope that we can work collectively with the Fifth Street Market across the road to really make this big — the synergy of the two events. Hopefully, everybody gets to be a part of both events,” Nelson said.
Following that celebration, the Pines of Wekiva Homeowners Association will host their first annual Holiday Fest on December 6 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. along Wekiva Pines Boulevard, near the Apopka Athletic Complex. The event is free for residents and will feature games, live music, vendors, food trucks, and an Apopka Fire Department truck for children to explore.
Both events aim to bring neighbors together in celebration of community, music, and local pride — closing out the year on a festive note in the City of Apopka.
