It all started with a sobering thought...
"What if something happens to me?"
That led Apopka Police Sergeant Steve Harmon and his wife to schedule a photo shoot with a local photographer.
When asked why he did the photo shoot with his daughter Harmon responded, "We did it for the possibility of me never coming home at the end of a shift. With her being so young she might never have the opportunity to know who I am."
For Harmon the thought of not coming home at the end of a shift hits close to home.
Harmon's wife posted several of the photos on Facebook and they went viral.
The phenomenon caught the attention of a local TV station. Harmon and his daughter were interviewed by the Fox 35 Good Day Orlando show yesterday.
