The Apopka Police Department made multiple drug-related and violent crime arrests during the week of May 10 through May 16, including a fentanyl trafficking case, aggravated battery charges, and several burglary investigations, according to the department’s latest media arrest report.

The report documented 75 citations, 28 crashes, 1,543 calls for service, and dozens of arrests across the city during the seven-day reporting period.

Among the most serious cases was the May 15 arrest of Alyssa Nicole Ganaway, 30, of Orlando, who was charged with trafficking fentanyl involving more than four grams following an investigation near Votaw Road. Ganaway was also charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.

In the same investigation, Samuel Elijah Blinn, 35, of Apopka, was arrested on charges including possession of fentanyl and operating a motor vehicle without a valid license.

The report also included several violent crime arrests.

On May 10, Corie Sylvester Murray, 47, of Apopka, was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon without intent to kill and battery following an incident on Vicks Landing Drive.

On May 14, Gloria Evette Rolon, 47, of Apopka, was arrested on charges of aggravated battery causing bodily harm or disability and battery after an incident on Lake Page Lane.

Drug-related arrests remained a recurring theme throughout the week, with multiple suspects charged with possession of controlled substances, possession of drug paraphernalia, resisting officers without violence, and probation violations.

Traffic-related arrests also appeared prominently in the report, including charges involving suspended licenses, speeding in excess of 100 miles per hour, and invalid vehicle registrations.

The department additionally reported several out-of-county warrant arrests during the reporting period.

Juvenile arrests included multiple burglary and criminal mischief charges involving vehicle break-ins reported on May 16. A 16-year-old Apopka resident was charged in connection with three separate burglary investigations involving unoccupied vehicles and property damage.
