It was a perfect 10 kind of year for the Apopka Memorial Middle School Seahawks Girls' basketball team.
The Seahawks took care of business in overwhelming style Thursday night when they routed the Avalon Middle School Huskies of Orlando 50-22 to capture the Orange County Championship and put an exclamation point on an undefeated 10-0 season!
The championship game was played at Wekiva High School.
On Monday, February 28th, Apopka Memorial rallied past the Timber Springs Middle School Wolverines of Orlando 42-39 in overtime of the semifinals to advance to the county championship game. The Seahawks trailed by as many as 10 points in the final period.
