The Apopka High School Theatre Department announces their second mainstage production for the 2017-2018 school year, James and the Giant Peach by Roald Dahl, adapted by David Wood. James and the Giant Peach has been a favorite story of many children. When James is orphaned and sent to live with his horrible aunts, Spiker and Sponge, he is miserable. One night an old man visits James to share with him some very powerful magic. When James falls and accidentally spills the magic under an old peach tree in his aunts’ garden, something truly magical happens that sets James and his new friends on a wonderful journey.
James and the Giant Peach will be performed at the Apopka High Auditorium on February 15 – 17 at 7 pm and February 17 at 2:30 pm. Tickets are $7 for General Admission and $10 for Preferred Seating. For tickets or more information contact, erin.miner@ocps.net. See you at the theatre!
