Christine Moore defeats challenger Matthew Fitzpatrick
Two term incumbent Christine Moore took the momentum of a big win in the August runoff to defeat her challenger Matthew Fitzpatrick with 34,411 votes (56%). Fitzpatrick received 27,450 (44%).
"I'm honored to represent our community's most precious commodity, children, for another four years," said Moore. "Voters recognized academic and facility advancement and I'm so happy the kids will keep their jazz festival and other special projects."
