Though Election Day in Apopka is still more than a week away, the voting has already begun — with 1,251 mail-in ballots received, processed, and entered into the official tally.

According to the Orange County Supervisor of Elections Office, those returned vote-by-mail ballots represent 3.23% of Apopka’s 38,698 registered voters.
Of the 1,251 ballots received, 546 were returned by registered Democrats, 461 by registered Republicans, 219 by voters with no party affiliation, and 25 by voters registered with minor parties.
Early voting begins Monday, March 2. Election Day is Tuesday, March 10.
In the 2022 Apopka mayoral election, 3,072 voters returned mail-in ballots, and a total of 6,775 votes were cast for mayor.
Apopka municipal elections are administered by the Orange County Supervisor of Elections Office. The 2026 mayoral election will be decided once all vote-by-mail ballots, early votes, and Election Day votes are counted and certified.
The current figures reflect vote-by-mail ballots that have been received and processed to date. Additional ballots may be returned before the deadline, and turnout totals will continue to change as early voting and Election Day voting take place.
