Apopka Burglary Report: Week of 4/18/2016 - 4/25/2016
The Apopka Police Department Burglary Report shows a slight increase in the number of Business and Vehicle Burglaries this past week. The Apopka Police Department has encouraged all residents to lock their vehicles to help prevent theft. This week, Orange County Sheriff's Office has taken to social media to spread the word. Using Nextdoor, the private social network for your neighborhood, OCSO shared the following message:

There has been an increase in car burglaries in your area, 83% of all car burglaries are unlocked vehicles. Please remove all valuables to include purses, electronics, guns, loose change, garage door openers, wallets, or anything of value. Park vehicles in well lit areas and set your car alarms. Remove all spare keys and house keys from your vehicle. Report all suspicious activity to your local Law Enforcement Agency.
