Apopka Burglary Report: Week Ending - 2/05/2017
The Apopka Burglary Report for the week 1/31/2017 - 2/05/2017 shows 32 burglaries reported in the City of Apopka.
Burglaries are back up. 7 burglaries were reported at the Oasis at Wekiva subdivision and at least 3 more at the neighboring Willow Lake Apartments. Several more reported in the Sheeler Oaks Subdivision and surrounding area.
Apopka Chief of Police Michael McKinley has asked us to remind everyone that many of this week's vehicle burglaries could have been prevented if everyone remembers to do two things:
- Remove all valuables from your vehicle
- Lock your car doors
The breakdown of the burglaries reported to the Apopka Police Department last week:
- 3 - Business
- 6 - Residential
- 23 - Vehicle
