Apopka Burglary Report: Week Ending - 1/30/2017
The Apopka Burglary Report for the week 1/23/2017 - 1/30/2017 shows 17 burglaries reported in the City of Apopka.
Five of the 10 Vehicle Burglaries appear to have been reported in public parking lots. Park Ave Vet, Walmart, Taco Bell, Ladybird Academy all seem safe enough places, but parking lots are easy places for crimes of convenience and at least one vehicle burglary was reported from each in the week ending 1/30.
Apopka Chief of Police Michael McKinley has asked us to remind everyone that many of this week's vehicle burglaries could have been prevented if everyone remembers to do two things:
- Remove all valuables from your vehicle
- Lock your car doors
