The Apopka Burglary Report for the week ending December 23rd shows 15 burglaries reported in the City of Apopka.
Four burglaries were reported at residences located in the 500 BLOCK of LAKE BRIDGE LN, the 1600 BLOCK of PICKARD CIR, the 900 BLOCK of MAPLE CT, and the 700 BLOCK of IROQUOIS DR.
No businesses reported burglaries this week.
11 vehicle burglaries were reported in the 300 BLOCK of S LAKE CORTEZ DR (3 incidents), the 100 BLOCK N LAKE AVE, the 1300 BLOCK of OLD APOPKA RD, 400 BLOCK LAKE BRIDGE LN (2 incidents), the 300 BLOCK of E OAK ST, the 900 BLOCK of ASHWORTH OVERLOOK DR, the 2000 BLOCK of OLD SOUTH LN, and the 800 BLOCK of ASHWORTH OVERLOOK DR
Chief Michael McKinley, of the APD, tells us that many vehicle burglaries could have been prevented if everyone remembers to do just two things:
Remove all valuables from your vehicle
Lock your car doors
