Apopka Burglary Report: Week Ending - 9/25/2017
The Apopka Burglary Report for the week 9/18/2017 - 9/25/2017 shows 12 burglaries reported in the City of Apopka.
Two residential burglaries were reported at the 2700 Block of Grassmoor Loop, and the 200 Block of Lovell Lane.
Seven vehicle burglaries were reported at the 900 Block of Ashworth Overlook Drive, the 1800 Block of Olivia Circle, the 300 Block of Oak Street, the 100 Block of South Central Avenue, the 1100 Block Green Vista Circle, the 100 Block of North Highland Avenue, and the 1300 Block of Golf Point Loop.
Three burglaries were reported at businesses on the 1100 Block of Rock Springs Road, the 400 Block of South Central Avenue, and the 1200 Block of South Apopka Boulevard.
Michael McKinley, Chief of the APD, tells us that many vehicle burglaries could have been prevented if everyone remembers to do just two things:
- Remove all valuables from your vehicle
- Lock your car doors
