Apopka Area Chamber names new Executive Director of Operations

Jeans Santiago promoted and also named Interim President

The Apopka Area Chamber of Commerce promoted Jeans Santiago from Director of Membership and Business Development to Executive Director of Operations. Santiago will also serve as Interim President.

She takes over for former Chamber CEO/President Cate Manley, who resigned in March.

The Chamber released the following statement about Santiago's promotion:

"The Apopka Area Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce the promotion of Mrs. Jeans Santiago to the position of Executive Director of Operations, also serving as the Interim President. Mrs. Santiago has been a valuable member of the Apopka Chamber for over two years, and her dedication and hard work have not gone unnoticed.
 
 In her previous role as Director of Membership and Business Development, Mrs. Santiago consistently demonstrated exceptional operations skills and a deep understanding of the Chamber's mission and vision. Her unwavering commitment to serving the Apopka community and supporting local businesses has been instrumental in the Chamber's continued success.
 
 As the Executive Director of Operations and Interim President, Mrs. Santiago will oversee the day-to-day operations of the Chamber, ensuring the smooth functioning of the Chamber’s programs. Her extensive knowledge of the organization, combined with her relationships within the business community, make her the ideal candidate for this important role.

According to the Chamber website, Manley will stay on as an advisor to the Apopka Area Chamber of Commerce Foundation.
