The Apopka Police Department responded to 1,782 calls for service, investigated 41 crashes, issued 94 traffic citations, and made 25 adult arrests during the reporting period of June 28 through July 4, according to the department's weekly media report. The report also includes three juvenile arrests.
Among the arrests were several involving driving under the influence, battery, theft, drug possession, and traffic-related offenses.

Police made four DUI-related arrests during the reporting period.
A 58-year-old Orlando woman was arrested June 28 on charges of driving under the influence, refusing to submit to DUI testing, and resisting an officer without violence following an incident on South Orange Blossom Trail.
Also on June 28, a 22-year-old Ocoee man was arrested on a DUI charge following a traffic stop near South Park Avenue and East Main Street.
On June 30, a 33-year-old Mount Dora woman was arrested on charges of DUI with a blood alcohol level of 0.15 or higher or with a person under 18 in the vehicle, along with child neglect without great bodily harm, after an incident near State Road 414 and State Road 451.
A fourth DUI arrest occurred July 4 when a 37-year-old Apopka woman was charged with driving under the influence and refusing to submit to DUI testing following a traffic stop near East Semoran Boulevard and Roger Williams Road.
On June 30, police arrested a 44-year-old Apopka man on multiple drug charges following an incident near Jason Dwelley Parkway and Firehouse Lane.
The charges include possession of fentanyl, cocaine and lorazepam without a prescription, as well as possession of drug paraphernalia.
Among the theft-related cases, police arrested:
- A 30-year-old Apopka woman on July 2 on a petit theft charge at a business on East Semoran Boulevard.
- A 23-year-old Apopka man on July 2 on a charge of grand theft of a motor vehicle.
- Two 28-year-old Apopka residents on July 4 on theft charges stemming from an incident on South Orange Blossom Trail.
- A 21-year-old Apopka woman on June 29 on a theft charge related to an incident on East Sixth Street.
Battery allegations accounted for several arrests during the week.
Those charged ranged in age from 19 to 70 and were involved in incidents reported on Ocoee-Apopka Road, Prairie Iris Street, Marden Road, Clapper Trail, Canyon Way, Lakeview Ridge Circle, and Errol Parkway. One arrest involved aggravated battery on a pregnant victim.
The Apopka Police Department's weekly media report reflects arrests made during the reporting period. As with all criminal cases, the listed charges are allegations, and defendants are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in court.
