The Apopka Police Department reported arrests involving charges ranging from carjacking and sexual battery to aggravated assault, DUI, and drug possession during the week of September 27 through October 3.

The APD's weekly arrest report also recorded 1,587 calls for service, 53 citations and 35 crashes during the seven-day period.
Among the most serious cases listed in the report was the September 27 arrest of a 26-year-old Eatonville man on multiple charges involving a juvenile. The charges included sexual battery, lewd or lascivious behavior, using a computer to seduce, solicit, or lure a child, and using a two-way communication device to facilitate a felony. The alleged offenses were reported in the 590 block of Maineline Boulevard.
On October 3, police arrested a 64-year-old Stuart man following an incident in the 300 block of West Welch Road. He was charged with carjacking without a firearm or weapon, battery, and possession of a controlled substance without a prescription.
An October 1 arrest stemmed from an incident in the 230 block of South Forest Avenue. A 48-year-old Apopka woman was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon without intent to kill and battery.
Police also reported an October 2 arrest involving aggravated battery on a pregnant victim in a dating violence case. Police also charged a 39-year-old Apopka man with criminal mischief involving property damage of $1,000 or more.
A separate September 29 case involved a 39-year-old Apopka man facing charges of leaving the scene of a crash involving serious bodily injury, leaving the scene of a crash involving property damage, and driving with a license expired for more than six months. The report lists State Road 429 and Ocoee Apopka Road as the location of the offense.
Other arrests included charges involving battery on a person 65 or older, grand theft of property valued between $750 and $5,000, domestic violence battery, drug possession, driving with a suspended or revoked license, and DUI. One September 30 case included charges of fraudulent use of identification belonging to a victim 60 or older, petit theft, and uttering a false bank document.
APD also reported several arrests on out-of-county warrants during the week.
The report separately lists juvenile arrests. Those included two juveniles charged in connection with two vehicle burglary cases in the 530 block of Breezy Oak Way on September 29. Each case included charges of burglary of an unoccupied conveyance and loitering or prowling. Another juvenile was arrested that day on charges including resisting an officer without violence and criminal mischief.
