The Apopka Police Department reported 75 citations, 33 crashes, 1,657 calls for service, and more than two dozen arrests during the week of June 14 through June 20, according to the department's latest arrest report.
Among the most serious arrests was a June 15 case involving Herbert Richard Cunningham, 30, of Apopka, who was charged with sexual battery involving a victim 18 years or older and digital voyeurism dissemination. The alleged offenses occurred in the 1920 block of Grasmere Drive.
Police also made two arrests in connection with a robbery reported June 18 in the 2170 block of East Semoran Boulevard. Lechelle Sade Brown, 28, of Orlando, and Marvin James Green, 34, of Orlando, were both charged with robbery by sudden snatching without a firearm or weapon.
Several DUI arrests were reported during the week. Christian Isaac Alexander Townsend, 37, of Apopka, was arrested June 14 on charges of driving under the influence and refusing DUI testing following an incident near Errol Parkway and Lexington Parkway. Alfredo Perez Reyna, 30, of Apopka, was also arrested on a DUI charge following an incident near East Sixth Street and South Forest Avenue.
Drug-related arrests accounted for several entries in the report. Jack Duncan Thomas, 48, of Orlando, was charged with possession of a controlled substance without a prescription, possession of drug paraphernalia, and driving while license suspended. Tina Beatrice Mitchell, 48, of Apopka, was arrested on charges including possession of a controlled substance without a prescription, possession of drug paraphernalia, trespassing, and resisting an officer without violence.
Domestic violence-related cases also appeared in the report. Alex Orlando Macztiul, 19, of Apopka, was arrested June 17 on a charge of battery involving dating violence. Nicole Louise O'Neal, 46, of Titusville, was charged with battery causing bodily harm and assault following an incident on South Apopka Boulevard.
