From the Apopka Police Department
The Apopka Police Department listed 33 arrests and 1,430 calls for service in its weekly media arrest report covering July 26 through August 1.
The report identifies 31 adult arrestees and two juveniles. It also records 97 citations and 26 crashes during the seven-day period.

Other entries during the week included arrests on theft, trespassing, criminal mischief, loitering or prowling, driving with a suspended or revoked license, providing a false name to law enforcement, and controlled-substance possession charges. Six adults were listed as arrested on out-of-county or other-agency warrants.
Battery was the most frequently appearing charge description in the report. APD listed battery charges against 10 adult arrestees. The department also listed two juvenile battery arrests involving youths ages 15 and 17. Their names were not included in the report.
