Rian Davis

Rian Davis, a rising senior at Wekiva High School and one of the top football prospects in the nation, has ended speculation prior to the 2018 football season by committing to the University of Georgia.

"First off I would like to thank God for putting me in the position I am in today," Davis said on his Twitter page. "I would also like to thank my mother and father and uncle for guiding and molding me into the man I am. I also want to thank my coaches and teammates at Wekiva and Clear Lake (high schools) for pushing me in the weight room and on the field and in the classroom to be the best student-athlete I can be and lastly I would like to thank all the coaches that took the time to watch my film and recruit me. With that being said, I have decided to continue my academic and athletic career at the University of Georgia. Go Dawgs."

Davis is rated a .9400 by 247Sports. He is considered the nation's No. 8 outside linebacker and the No. 80 prospect overall. Davis played for Wekiva his freshman year, before moving to Houston, Texas, where he played the past two seasons at Clear Lake High School.
