AdventHealth Apopka announced a major leadership appointment this week, naming Latonya McCoy as the hospital’s new Chief Nursing Officer. According to its statement, McCoy steps into this key role with a proven record of leadership and a deep passion for serving patients and staff. Her arrival marks a new chapter for the hospital’s nursing program as it continues to grow to meet the needs of a rapidly expanding community in Orange County.

In her new position, McCoy will guide nursing teams across all departments, focusing on clinical excellence, patient safety, and a culture of compassionate care.
