Florida gas prices declined 11 cents last week. On Sunday, the state average was $3.00 per gallon, the lowest daily average price since March 24.

Sunday's state average is two cents lower than a month ago and 59 cents lower than this time last year.

The U.S. price of crude rose by a little more than $3 per gallon (5%) last week. Gasoline futures increased 10 cents.

2. Drive conservatively. Avoid aggressive acceleration and speeding, which reduces fuel economy.
