2025 Hispanic Heritage Celebration Art Contest for Kids K to 5^th Grade

What ages can enter? Kindergarten through 5^th Grade.
What can I draw? Picture with the theme "Celebrating Hispanic Heritage"
How do I enter? Submit drawing to Apopka City Hall or school's administration office by Thursday, September 18, 2025 at 5 PM. Please include the student name, age, phone number, parent/guardian name & email on the back of your original art work.
When will the winner be announced? Entries will be judged and winner announced by 5 PM during the Hispanic Heritage Celebration on September 20, 2025 at Kit Land Nelson Park. A prize will be awarded to the winner.

Please Note: By submitting artwork, the parent/guardian agrees that this is original artwork and that permission is given to the City of Apopka for use without compensation.

Who can enter? Open to middle school students in the Apopka area.
What should I write?
- Focus on Hispanic culture, history, a notable figure, or personal reflections.
- Essays must be 500 to 700 words.
- Must be original and typed.
How do I enter?
- Submit essay online through our City of Apopka Hispanic Heritage Essay Contest Form by Thursday, September 18, 2025 at 5 PM.
When will the winner by announced? Entries will be judged and winner announced by 5 PM during the Hispanic Heritage Celebration on September 20, 2025 at Kit Land Nelson Park. A prize will be awarded to the winner.
