The largest residential proposal on the agenda is Oakmoor, formerly known as Ondich North. The project seeks approval of a construction site plan for a subdivision with 196 single-family homes. The development is proposed on property located along Oak Lane and Ondich Road and is currently under its second review cycle.
Committee members will also review plans for a 30,000-square-foot warehouse at 3716 Hogshead Road. The project, submitted by Laurel Bodega LLC, is appearing before the committee for its first review of the construction site plan.
A second commercial project involves a proposed 7-Eleven convenience store and fuel station at 2501 Ocoee-Apopka Road. The development is returning to the committee for a second review of its construction site plan.
The agenda also includes a request for a special event permit for Duran: 2650, a fitness and workout event planned for July 11 at the Northwest Recreation Complex on Jason Dwelley Parkway.
The Development Review Committee serves as the City's technical review body, evaluating site plans and development proposals for compliance with City standards before projects advance through the approval process. While the committee's reviews focus primarily on engineering, planning, transportation, environmental, and infrastructure considerations, the projects often represent the first public look at developments that may eventually come before the Planning Commission or City Commission.
Wednesday's meeting is open to the public and includes a public comment period at the beginning of the agenda.
