Breaking News: FBI arrests former APD officer

Today, The Federal Bureau of Investigation arrested Nathaniel Tuck, a former officer at the Apopka Police Department.

Tuck was employed by the APD as a full-time police officer from March 19th, 2018 to August 22nd, 2020. Tuck resigned from the APD as a full-time police officer, but remained a reserve officer from August 22nd, 2020, to September 18th, 2020. Tuck was not employed by the APD at the time of the incident that led to his arrest.

The APD became aware of the FBI’s investigation of Tuck and cooperated with their investigation.

This case is being investigated by the FBI and prosecuted by the US Attorney’s Office.
