Vehicle Burglaries Decline in Apopka

After peaking in late December at 22 reported burglaries in one week, Vehicle Burglaries have declined dramatically during the past two week as indicated by the graph below: As previously reported (LOCK IT OR LOSE IT), most vehicle burglaries are "crimes of opportunity" - the opportunity presented when the car doors are left unlocked.

The APD still needs your help. Lock your car doors. Please.
