Mayor's Best Band - First Place - 2015 Apopka Christmas Parade

The Apopka High School Blue Darter Marching Band and Guard was this year's winner of the Mayor's Best Band Award. The 2015 straight superior-rated Apopka High School Blue Darter Marching Band has been proud to represent the city of Apopka throughout our community and country. They have traveled to Washington DC, Chicago, Illinois and are a fixture in the Annual Sertoma Apopka Christmas Parade. The director of bands at Apopka High School is Jeremy Langford and the associate director is Mark Ellis. The Guard is directed by Chel Fields.
