Poll: Last day to vote for the Biggest Story of 2016

Posted

For the past week, The Apopka Voice re-published the most important stories of 2016. It was a noteworthy year in Apopka. Two new commissioners were elected, a new fire chief hired, a new community center coming, a new memorial at City Hall and a new budget/millage rate. There was also a football team that went undefeated and a million fish dropped into Lake Apopka.

So which was the biggest story in Apopka in 2016? We will let the readers decide.

Over the next few days, The Apopka Voice will publish a poll which asks you to vote on which story was the biggest of the year. Let us know what you think.

Happy 2017 Apopka.
