Picked up Loyd's paycheck on January 7th
Orange County deputies arrested the niece of the man wanted for allegedly killing a law enforcement officer on Monday and his pregnant ex-girlfriend last month.
Lakensha Smith-Loyd went to the Texas Fried Chicken Restaurant where the suspect, Markeith Loyd, worked to pick up his $200 paycheck on January 7th.
Loyd worked at the restaurant with Zarghee Mayan, who was arrested last night in connection with the case.
Mayan told deputies that Smith-Loyd went to the restaurant to get the paycheck.
Smith-Loyd is currently in the Orange County Jail charged with accessory after the fact to life/first degree murder.
