Joins with Marines on Toys for Tots
From The Orange County Clerk of the Courts
In just one month, the staff at the Orange County Clerk of Courts collected more than 570 toys for children in need as part of the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots program. The Clerk’s employees donated toys and were able to provide drop off locations at all six branches of the Clerk’s office for customer participation.
The mission of the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots program is to collect new, unwrapped toys during the last 3 months of the year to distribute those toys as Christmas gifts to less fortunate children in the community. The Clerk of Court’s office employees overwhelmingly chose the Toys for Tots program to support this holiday season.
“We only had a few weeks to collect toys for children in need,” said Orange County Clerk of Courts Tiffany Moore Russell. “To collect over 500 toys makes me overjoyed and proud to see that our staff and customers understand the sense of urgency families’ face during the holidays to make their children’s Christmas special.”
The Orange County Clerk of Courts is happy to join the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots program to provide joy to children during this holiday season.
