When you have no time, it can be a bit of a nightmare. Housework, work, and spending time with the kids become harder to achieve. Of course, there is nothing you can do to extend the day. However, there are some tricks from planning ahead and delegating tasks to other people.
Use all available services
We live in a world where there are services for everything. Thanks to apps, if you can think of it, there is probably a service for it. When you work late, the last thing you want to do is cook a big meal. So, food-ordering apps are a Godsend. And when the weekend finally comes, services like saucey.com offer convenient ways to order your favorite tipple. Using apps frees up what little time you have to enjoy it more without spending it doing things that otherwise use it all up.
Plan your downtime and use it
If you have no downtime at all, then you are working much too hard, almost illegally. Of course, some jobs are far more demanding than others. Which makes your personal time more valuable than someone else's. Personal time is there for enjoying life, so don't use it for work. Plan your time away from work and disconnect unless there is a good reason you can't. This includes not checking work emails, switching off your work phone, and leaving anything related to your job.
Organize your day when you have no time
Time is a valuable resource, and many people squander it. It can feel like you don't have enough time. But time is only as good as how well you organize it. Most of us, around 6 in 10, believe we don't have enough time. Yet there is always time available when you plan out your working day and spare time. For example, getting up one hour earlier means you can exercise, get ready for work easily, or cook breakfast for the family rather than being rushed around.
Delegate tasks to others where possible
You don't have to do everything yourself. There are always methods of including others to get things done. At work, you can delegate tasks to subordinates or colleagues. And the same goes for home tasks. Children can pick up after themselves from an early age. And any other adults living with you must be responsible for taking care of the house, too. Trying to get everything done alone is a one-way road to burning out and experiencing mental and physical issues.
Keep equipment in good condition
Time is against you with some jobs. Maybe you work from home to deadlines. So, what happens when your computer dies? You may miss a deadline because you spent the time sorting out equipment. Learning to take care of your laptop or mobile devices is a massive help. And having a backup computer is always a good idea. Fortunately, a good enough laptop for getting work done isn't too expensive these days, and a back will bail you out of a bad spot.
Summary
Taking advantage of services with apps can help make life easier when you have no time. It also helps to organize the day ahead. Computer care and having backup devices are a big help.
