It is the first weekend in February and that means it is time for the fourth annual Lake Apopka Wildlife Festival & Birdapalooza.
On Friday bird watchers can participate in three different field trips along the North Shore of Lake Apopka. Participants will search for more than 360 documented species.
On Saturday, enjoy the free Birdapalooza Festival. Observe bird banding, take guided tours by bus or on foot and check out exhibits, music, nature-inspired merchandise sales and food trucks.
On Sunday, find other unusual birds on your own self-guided tour.
