Entenmann's recalls some Little Bites snacks

Entenmann’s has issued a voluntary recall of some of the brand’s Little Bites snacks due to the presence of small pieces of plastic caused by a manufacturing failure at a contract manufacturer’s bakery in Illinois.

The items being recalled include:

• 5 pack Little Bites Fudge Brownies
• 5 and 10 packs of Chocolate Chip Muffins
• 20 pack Variety Pack

One injury has been reported.

The contaminated products were distributed in the last two weeks to a total of 37 states.

The brownies and muffins each have a best by date of October 8, 2016, and the Variety Pack has a best by date of September 24, 2016.

No other Entenmann’s brand products are included in the recall. Consumers are urged to either throw away the snacks or return them to the store where they were purchased to receive a full refund. Consumers with questions may contact the company at 1-800-984-0989 at any time 24 hours a day.
