Early Voting Begins Today

Apopkans can vote at 17 different locations beginning on Monday.

August 30th is Election Day. But, unlike Christmas, you do not need to wait for Election Day to actually vote. And you do not have to vote at a polling place near your home!

Many Apopkans have already voted by requesting a Vote-by-Mail Ballot (Vote-by-Mail used to be known as Absentee Voting.), but an increasing number of voters cast their votes well before Election Day. And they often vote near their workplace, not near their home.

Use this link or our interactive map below to find your most convenient voting location. All locations are open from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM.

Florida Election Law allows voters to cast a ballot prior to Election Day at any designated Early Voting Center. And unlike Election Day, when voters are required to vote at only their designated polling place in the precinct where they live, a voter can vote at any Early Voting Center.

Early Voting begins today Monday, August 15th at 10:00 AM and ends on Sunday, August 28th at 7:00 PM.

Voters must show an acceptable Photo and Signature ID. Voters who are unable to provide a photo and signature ID will be issued a provisional ballot.

Early Votes are saved immediately but the results are not tabulated until election night.
