Florida's economic growth and vitality owe a great deal to the contributions of immigrants.

Entrepreneurial spirit and innovation drive job creation, invigorate industries, and foster economic development. Immigrants bring diverse skills, experiences, and perspectives that enrich our workplaces and make our communities stronger.

And now, it's time to celebrate their achievements.

"I am thrilled to extend an invitation to an upcoming Happy Hour event celebrating the contributions of immigrant entrepreneurs to Florida's thriving economy," said Samuel Vilchez Santiago, the American Business Immigration Coalition (ABIC) Florida State Director.

Santiago also announced an impressive group of elected officials attending the event.

"We are honored to be joined by special guests Mayor Buddy Dyer, U.S. Representatives Maxwell Alejandro Frost and Darren Soto, as well as key Chambers of Commerce and employer associations."

According to its website, ABIC is active in key states and communities across the country, engaging activists, advocates, business leaders, and elected officials on the urgency of passing immigration reform that boosts our economy, creates jobs, eases the labor shortage, and supports families.

The goal of our bipartisan coalition of over 1200 diverse businesses and business associations is to provide a strong and effective voice seeking sensible immigration reforms to grow our economy and strengthen our families.

Sensible immigration reform is economically important, politically smart, and morally right.

"As part of our foundation's mission to aid our community in overcoming workforce barriers for underestimated people and promoting economic justice for all in our region," said Cate Manley, President of the Apopka Chamber Foundation. "The Apopka Chamber Foundation is committed to supporting business advocacy for our vast local immigrant workforce and the business sectors that employ and serve them. Learn more about the economic impact of the immigrant workforce by attending this event."

The event, in collaboration with the HOPE CommUnity Center, promises to be an inspiring evening filled with meaningful conversations and connections.
