Apopka Police Officers responded to a call that shots were fired near 10th Street and Central Avenue in Apopka this morning at 1:10 am. The officers were unable to locate the shooters, but later received a call from Florida Hospital Apopka that two gunshot victims were being treated. Upon their arrival, two additional gunshot victims arrived. All four victims were transported to the Orlando Regional Medical Center (ORMC), because it is a trauma center. None of the victim's wounds were life-threatening according to Sgt. Kim Walsh of the Apopka Police Department (APD) Public Information Office.
The incident is currently under investigation with the APD. No names or other details were released.
