Breaking News: APD responds to emergency plane landing in Apopka

Officers from the Apopka Police Department responded to a report of an airplane crash in Apopka this morning.
According to the APD report, On May 8th at 11:30 am, the Apopka Police Department responded to 3000 Shelby Industrial Drive regarding a report of an Airplane crash.
Shelby Industrial Drive is home to an Amazon Warehouse and Goya Foods of Florida.
The plane reportedly sustained wing damage in flight and made an emergency landing at this location. There were two passengers onboard, no injuries were reported.
The Federal Aviation Administration and National Transportation Safety Board have been notified and are responding.
