The Blue Darters, seeded #5 in the region, closed-out their regular season with a 7-3 record and a 44-12 victory over the Oak Ridge Pioneers. On Friday they face the 9-1 Seminoles, winners of District 8A-2 and the #4 seed in the region. The Seminoles defeated Bishop Moore 34-25 in their final regular season game, and are currently riding a three-game winning streak.

The Mustangs won their season finale 46-34 over Lake Nona to finish 8-1 and earn the #2 seed in the region. They are currently on a seven-game winning streak. Wekiva faces a Lake Mary team that lost its last two games, but finished with a 7-3 record, and is the #7 seed in the region.

It is the 18th consecutive year the Blue Darters have made the playoffs, while the Mustangs return to the postseason for their second straight season.
