OCS and OPD collaborate on Operation RISE

Sheriff Jerry Demings and Chief John Mina continue to work diligently to eliminate the criminal element in the Pine Hills area through the efforts of Operation R.I.S.E. This update on the Operation RISE collaborative efforts covers the reporting period Friday, December 16th to Tuesday January 17th.
Arrests made: 187
Cannabis seized: 8.8 lbs.
Crack Cocaine seized: 43.04
Xanax: 27 bars
MDMA: 8 pills
Cash: (seized or submitted to evidence) $21,342.27
Guns Recovered: 26 (nine of these from convicted felons 6 of these were stolen)
There have also been numerous traffic contact, suspicious persons encountered, and several stolen vehicle recovered; these efforts will continue. As we have additional details and make significant arrests in this operation we will pass them along to you.
