Apopka Burglary Report:Week of 3/21/2016 - 3/28/2016
Fourteen total burglaries were reported week ending March 28th as the trend continues. All of the 7 Vehicle Burglaries were reported in residential areas. Locking your vehicle doors while you're at home may be the difference between keeping your property or not.
One interesting result from this years' burglary activity is a new sign posted near the street outside of AOK Tire Mart on Main Street. Three burglaries on AOK Tire Mart, in as many months, has provoked AOK Tire Mart to offer a reward leading to the arrest of the culprit hitting his business.
Such an arrest would drop the monthly burglary totals by at least one.
Short of posting rewards, we all can do our part to help prevent theft, lock your car doors, set your vehicle alarms, keep an eye out for your neighbors' property.
