Apopka Burglary Report: Week Ending - 9/19/2016
The Apopka Burglary Report for the week 9/12/2016 - 9/19/2016 shows 17 burglaries reported in the City of Apopka.
Vehicle Burglaries reported were cut in half yet again from the previous week. That makes 6 Vehicle Burglaries reported last week vs the 22 reported on week ending September 5th. Unfortunately, Residential Burglaries doubled last week to 10.
The burglaries were widespread across Apopka. 2 Vehicle Burglaries were reported in, or near Sheeler Hills Subdivision. 2 Residential Burglaries were reported in the Chalet North community off of Orange Blossom Trail and 2 more reported near Apopka High School, one in Mainline Village Subdivision and one in Clayton Estate off of Vick Rd.
According to the Apopka Police Department most Vehicle Burglaries can be prevented by locking your car doors.
