441 Resurfacing Project - Lane Closures This Week

Turn lanes from Sprint Blvd to 436 will be closed during the day this week. Also, the turn lanes at intersection of 441 and Hiawassee will be closed at night.

The project consists of milling and resurfacing of US 441 (Orange Blossom Trail) from south of Sprint Blvd to Central Avenue. The project also includes base work, shoulder treatment, drainage improvements, curb and gutters, traffic signals, highway signing and sidewalks/shared paths.

Lane Closures

Sunday, August 21st to Saturday, August 27th

7:00 AM to 5:00 PM - Day time lane closures

9:00 PM to 6:00 AM - Night time lane closures

Turn lanes along US 441 from Sprint Blvd to SR 436 will be closed during the day. The subcontractor will be working on curb, sidewalk, reinforced concrete pipe and installation of erosion control devices throughout the project.

The traffic signal sub-contractor will be wiring and installing conduit throughout the project.

Lane closures at night will take place at US 441 and Hiawassee. The closures will be on the right lanes as follows:

North to south on the southbound lanes

South to north on the northbound lanes
