See that older gentleman on the bench over there? That’s Grandpa Nunu. If you go up to him and say, “Hi, Grandpa NuNu,” he’ll talk with you as though you’re a member of the family. You can talk about anything you like. What you say may be fact or fiction; it doesn’t matter. The “interaction” is what matters. Grandpa Nunu can only be found at FusionFest!

Celebrating Orange County’s Strategic Investment
On November 8, 2023, Orange County Mayor Jerry L. Demings and the Orange County Office of Arts and Cultural Affairs honored more than 40 organizations with cultural tourism grants made possible with Tourist Development Tax (TDT) funds. The event was held in Orange County’s new, state-of-the-art Multicultural Center.
The inaugural ACT (Arts, Culture, and Tourism) Awards highlight Orange County’s strategic investment of $4.2 million in TDT funds to support the arts. It’s the largest dollar amount ever awarded by the Cultural Tourism Funding program which supports organizations with projects that bring visitors to Orange County.
