People who don’t research candidates will vote based on party lines, and this is exactly what a partisan school board election will do. Having it as a non-partisan vote will require voters to either do their research on the candidates or go “off the fly” to pick and choose candidates. I really hope this doesn’t pass, but given Florida’s Republican supermajority, it probably will.
