Thought I would let everyone know that the Golden Corral Restaurant is closing for good after Dec. 28th, 2022 in Altamonte Springs. They will be open for Christmas buffet, however. The owner has tried so hard to keep it going, even when he is in huge debt. The pandemic was a big factor, and he was forced to close for awhile, but reopened. He is not closing due to lack of business, it is always busy. He has done a great job, and always gave veterans a free buffet on Veteran's Day. He should be commended, for that. Now on Thanksgiving, the restaurant was in the dark, with no power, and crowds inside, but that was not his fault, because a car hit a power pole out on the highway, out front knocking everything in that area out of power. He is selling out to Costco, next door, and they are going to demolish the restaurant building, and build their own gas station. I suppose it will operate with memberships only, much like Sam's Club gas station.
