Breaking News ALERT UPDATE!

UPDATED: On or around noon today, Kayla St. John texted her mother Amanda G. Evans, but did not give her location; according to a Facebook post from Evans. Less than an hour later, Evans found her daughter and is with her now, according to additional posts on Facebook from Evans.

A Lockhart girl has been missing for 24 hours according to her mother. Kayla St. John, 15, was last seen at the Racetrak convenience store located at 1652 S. Semoran Blvd. in Apopka (near the bowling alley) with two teenage boys, and was not present at Wekiva High School today according to Amanda G. Evans (St. John's mother). She was last seen wearing greenish converse shoes, light blue jeans and a black long sleeve FSU shirt with logos on sleeves. She has been missing for over 24 hours according to Evans. Please contact the Orange County Sheriff's Office or call 911 if you have any information.
