Burglary forces lockdown at two Apopka schools

Both Wolf Lake Elementary and Middle were on lockdown due to police activity in the area earlier today, according to Lorena Hitchcock, Senior Specialist, Media Relations for Orange County Public Schools.

According to the Apopka Police Department, two juveniles ran towards the schools after burglarizing the concession stand at the Northwest Recreation Complex on Jason Dwelley Parkway.

Both juveniles were taken into custody by the Apopka Police Department.

The lockdown at both schools has been lifted.
