Calling all explorers aged 8-18. Grab your hat and hiking shoes and get orienteering to celebrate Arbor Day.

Orange County Environmental Protection Division staff will conduct an orienteering event for youth ages 8-18 to learn how to use a compass. Participants will have fun locating and identifying Florida Native Trees on Pine Lily Preserve.

For safety and comfort, participants are asked to:

  • Wear long pant and closed-toe shoes; hiking boots are recommended
  • Bring a filled water bottle; water will be provided for refills

Check-in begins at 9 a.m. and the event will start promptly at 9:30 a.m.

Tickets are free, but registration is required. Space is limited, so register today!

Youth needs to be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Orange County celebrates 10 years as a certified Tree City USA community.
