Central Florida Soccer Club Transforming Lives Through Community Support

In the vibrant heart of Apopka, something special is happening. It's not just about soccer matches or practices; it's about the spirit of giving back and lifting up those in need. Central Florida Soccer Club isn't just a club; it's a beacon of hope and opportunity for the community, and it's all thanks to the incredible support of generous donors, dedicated players, family and friends.

We’re currently halfway through our month-long fundraising campaign, and we are absolutely amazed by the response from our community, as we have already exceeded our initial goal. Beyond raising money, we think it's equally important to teach our players the importance of taking action to support a cause. Over 300 of our players across all of our programs have been given their own fundraising goal of $350 each. More important than the amount they raise is their involvement. The players are given incentives and rewards for reaching goals. Creating an atmosphere to “gamify” their involvement, which aims at tapping into what our players are natural at – playing games! Ultimately, we want to generate a positive attitude toward fundraising and community involvement while strengthening the camaraderie amongst our club and city.

Through your donations we are able to offer free events for Apopka soccer players of all ages including free Open Play nights every Friday and community events throughout the year. We also provide paying jobs for club coaches and staff, referees, and even reimbursement for staff qualification training and we continue to hold food drives to restock local food banks in schools during the end-of-the-year holiday season.

In addition to contributing to Apopka’s local community, these donations keep membership fees affordable. Youth sports, especially at the competitive level, can be expensive. We understand this burden better than most. We strive to keep our currently affordable membership fees below other soccer clubs in our area.

We understand that Apopka has a uniquely broad socio-economic community. Because of this, our fundraiser provides financial assistance to many players in need to ensure they participate in the game we all love. Money should be the last reason Apopka’s youth should be left out of all the benefits of youth sports. Rest assured that your donation will help support our mission to ignite the passion for soccer in every child, regardless of their background or financial status, by providing equal opportunities to learn, play, and grow in a diverse and inclusive Central Florida community.
